In a devastating fire in a Siberian shopping mall that killed 64 people, officials have reported serious violations, including blocked fire exits from the shopping center. Several of those put into custody include the building’s owner and those responsible for repairing the fire alarm system. While officials are narrowing down factors which contributed to the fatality of the event, investigators are still working to determine what initially caused the fire.
