The Guardian: Coronavirus ‘could infect 60% of global population if unchecked

Epidemiologists have concluded that the Wuhan Coronavirus could spread to over half of the globe if nothing is being done to prevent this spread. With the number of infected individuals seeing a rapid increase, officials are strongly advising against international travel in general, especially to China. With such a fast spread, health officials are considering a new approach to lessening its impact: instead of stopping the virus itself from spreading, they want to be able to find ways to treat it and lessen the effects after it has hit.
