The E.R. is bustling with new teens every day in need of psychiatric help. Unnamed Doctor believes that the best place for treatment for adolescents would be at an inpatient treatment center, where there will be individual and group therapy sessions. But, these treatment program centers are full with often no openings. The average wait time to get into the treatment facility is 10 days. Mental health disorders are continuing to rise, in a 2019 study, they found that 13 percent of adolescents reported to have a major depressive episode, a 60 percent increase from 2007.
