2017 Top three warmest years on record

2017 is set to be one of the top three warmest years on record. The study, presented by the WMO, the World Meteorological Organization, at the UN Climate Change Conference this month, follows a study released by the organization a few weeks ago, finding that CO2 concentration in the atmosphere is currently at the highest level ever recorded globally. Due to the results of El Nino, 2016 is still the warmest year on record, with 2015 and 2017 being the second or third warmest, with the order yet to be determined. According to the WMO, the average temperature during 2017 was 1.1C above the average temperature of the pre-industrial era.
