NPR: Failing Patients’: Baltimore Video Highlights Crisis Of Emergency Psychiatric Care

 All across the nation, hospitals struggle with providing psychiatric care to their patients. In Emergency Departments, patients suffering from psychoses has increased by more than 50% between 2003 and 2013.  A viral video was taken outside of University of Maryland Medical Center Midtown Campus that has brought this issue to light.
