6.5 million pounds of beef recalled due to salmonella outbreak

6.5 million pounds of beef products have been recalled by the meat producer JBS Tolleson Inc. due to a salmonella outbreak. From August 5th to September 6th, there were 57 reported cases of salmonella across 16 states, all determined to be linked to this particular outbreak. While no deaths have been reported, 14 patients have been hospitalized.
