US News: The Latest: Outbreak of Norovirus at Wildfire Shelter

There has been an outbreak of Norovirus reported at a shelter where those affected by the Camp Fire in northern California are seeking refuge. Floors have been mopped with bleach and those infected have been quarantined as a means to stop the spread. Norovirus is highly contagious, with symptoms that include fever, body aches, and diarrhea. A total of 56 people have been killed as a result of the Camp Fire, the largest number of fatalities from a fire in state history.
