Most of the infected children reported being unvaccinated against measles. There’s concern that the Washington outbreak could spread across the state line to Oregon. Health officials are recommending that people who think they might have measles should call their healthcare provider first to make a plan, rather than risk spreading the contagious disease by visiting a health center without warning.
