New York Times: Potential Surge In Homelessness As $21.5 billion Owed In Back Rent


The CARES ACT expired July 25th which now allows landlords to proceed with eviction notices and evict tenants starting August 24th. As a result, this has led to discussion of how significantly this may increase the homeless population in the US because over $21.5 billion is owed in past-due rent by Americans.
