The New York Times: California Fires have Burned Over 350,000 Acres


Wildfires in Northern and Central California have burned more than 350,000 acres as of early 08/20. Many of the fires resulted from lightning strikes in high temperatures along with being fanned by winds. Efforts of containing the fires have further been complicated by fires merging together.
