CNN: Hurricane Delta leaves hundreds of thousands without power as it pummels parts of Louisiana and Texas

Hurricane Delta touched a few days ago in Louisiana, an area still dealing with the fallout of Hurricane Laura which hit just two months ago. Areas of Louisiana are experiencing major flooding, and 5.5 million people in the surrounding area are under flash flood warning. Hurricane Delta made landfall as a category 2 storm. There are a large number of mandatory evacuation orders and more than 9,500 people are in shelters. Many homes and businesses have not been repaired from Hurricane Laura destruction. Leaders also fear the possibility of tornadoes in the coming weeks in parts of Louisiana and Mississippi.
