CNN: At this rate, January will be the deadliest month of Covid-19 in the US

With holiday gatherings, there have already been more than 27,000 new Covid-19 deaths in the first 10 days of the new year. Health officials are expecting new records in number of deaths this month. The newly identified more highly contagious variant of the Covid-19 that has been found in at least eight states in the U.S. are causing more fear in public health officials. Last Thursday was the first time there were more than 4,000 new deaths in a single day, and with the shortage of hospital beds, that toll is expected to get worse. For the full article, click here.
