Washington Post: 2020 was the deadliest gun violence year in decades. So far, 2021 is worse.

By every measure, gun violence deaths are at its worst within just the first seven months of 2021. According to the Gun Violence Archive, there have been more than 120 gun violence deaths with just this past weekend alone. In fact, there is an increase of 14 more deaths per day in average compared to the previous 6 years measured at the same period.
