County of Los Angeles
Hospital Preparedness Program now evolved into the "Disaster Coalition Advisory Committee and deals with healthcare disaster issues dealing with hospitals. LA County gets more than $10 million per year for this inititive.
Los Angeles Peer Agencies Consortium (LACPAC) is a committee consisting of hight level representatives from the four public safety agencies in LA City and County (LAPD, Sheriff, City Fire and County Fire) along with Dr Katona and Professor Terry Anderson that focuses on issues relaing to how these large agencies can work better together to coordinate services in a rapidly changing landscape. Subcommittees have also been established on Leadership and Disaster Preparedness.
