Lessons Learned Information Sharing (LLIS)

Description from DHS/FEMA:

Lessons Learned Information Sharing program is part of FEMA’s National Preparedness Assessment Division (NPAD). NPAD’s mission is to advance all hazards preparedness by assessing and communicating investments, activities, and accomplishments related to national preparedness. The LLIS program supports this mission by: Developing and disseminating lessons learned, innovative practices, and other related content to support continuous improvement throughout the whole community; Analyzing emergency management capabilities in order to identify common areas of strengths or improvements; and Developing policy and doctrine.
