PrEP, or pre-exposure prophylaxis, is a preventative HIV drug that works by preventing HIV from entering and replicating in the body. Clinical research in Europe on 24,000 subjects has shown promising results with 99% effectiveness and reduced chances of getting HIV by 86%.
