The Science: Congo’s Ebola Outbreak is Not Yet a Global Emergency

The Science: This outbreak began back in September of 2018, but has yet to be controlled. Despite concern, the decision to not make the outbreak a global emergency was unanimous. World Health Organization officials along with United Nations representatives feel “moderately optimistic” about the current situation.
