CNN: Flu season may not have peaked, and there’s another wave of severe infections underway, CDC says

A second wave of severe flu infections is coming over many states. There have been approximately 26.3 million flu illnesses between October 1 and March 2 as shown by the weekly flu report released by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The CDC reported about 37 hospitalizations per 100,000 people due to the flu but that the rates are lower than last year.
