ABC7: Heightened security in place at SoCal mosques as Ramadan begins

Ramadan, the Muslim holy month, began Sunday evening. Across Southern California, mosques, such as the Islamic Center of Northridge, are heightening security measures in light of concerns following mass attacks such as the mosque shootings in Christchurch, New Zealand and the synagogue shooting closer to home in San Diego last month. There are plans on installing more security cameras and employing armed guards at the Northridge mosque. Read the full article here.
