Using weed regularly raises the risk of heart problems for young people

Younger people with cannabis use disorder are at higher risk of heart rhythm problems, and young people who use weed frequently are at a higher risk for stroke, according the the American Heart Association. They looked at data from the Nationwide Inpatient Sample, which gives national estimates of hospital stays. 2.6% of patients hospitalized for heart arrhythmia were regular cannabis users, and tended to be younger. click here
