The coronavirus not only affects health and safety but also businesses, specifically Silicon Valley tech companies. The stocks of these tech companies like Apple and Facebook are falling because of their connections and suppliers in China. Furthermore, conferences that bring together major companies are being canceled or losing participation because of travel restrictions and fear of the virus. Big names like IBM and Verizon did not attend a major digital security conference in San Francisco and Facebook canceled its Global Marketing Summit.
