Teens around the United States display the lowest vaccination rates for a vaccine eligible age group. In the past, prior to the development of new COVID-19 variants, the virus mainly affected older individuals. Nowadays, though, the virus can spread quickly through kids too. Therefore, the CDC recommends that anyone eligible to be vaccinated be vaccinated as soon as possible. One vaccine clinic in Cuthbert, Georgia attempted to encourage teen vaccinations.
