NBC: Moderna asks FDA to authorize its updated Covid booster shot
Moderna has seeked approval from the Food and Drug Administration for their new COVID-19 booster vaccines that targets the BA.5 and BA.4 omicron subvariant. Anyone over the age of 18 would be eligible for bivalent vaccine. There are some researchers doubting the extra protection from omicron sub variants that the shots are supposed to give.
