CNBC: The U.S. is ‘certainly’ still in a Covid-19 pandemic, Dr. Fauci says

The White House chief medical advisor, Dr. Anthony Fauci told NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday that the United States is “certainly” still in a COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Fauci said there are still 300 to 400 daily COVID-19 deaths in the United States. He also mentioned the low vaccination rate for the latest bivalent booster shot, less than 15% of Americans have taken it which is a considerably lower rate compared to other developed countries. In his final Covid briefing as the White House’s chief medical advisor he stressed for people to get vaccinated and to not think of the pandemic as over.
