CNN: FDA approves first vaccine for RSV, a moment six decades in the making

The FDA approved Arexvy, an RSV (respiratory syncytial virus) vaccine made by GSK approved for adults 60 years or older, which is the first RSV vaccine after 60 years. Dr. Peter Marks of the FDA states that this vaccine is especially important for older RSV patients because of underlying health conditions they may have that may exacerbate RSV symptoms.
