How the FBI and ATF are aiding the Las Vegas shooting investigation

The FBI, ATF, and numerous local agencies are working hand-in-hand to investigate the mass shooting that killed 58 individuals in Las Vegas. The FBI was on scene the night of the shooting and continues to provide federal resources to the investigation such as collecting and analyzing all video data and analyzing all evidence from the hotel room of the shooter. The immense amount of manpower this investigation required prompted the U.S Justice Department to award a $1 million grant to Nevada for personnel costs.
