BMC Women’s Health: Neonatal, infant, and child mortality among women exposed to intimate partner violence in East Africa: a multi-country analysis

Child mortality rates, generally, are the highest in low and middle income countries, which also tend to be the countries with the highest rates of intimate partner violence. A new analysis about the association between the two recommends that understanding intimate partner violence within such countries can motivate specific interventions for child mortality.
