CNN: Wuhan coronavirus is not yet a public health emergency of international concern, WHO says

The World Health Organization (WHO) announced that although the Wuhan coronavirus has caused an epidemic in China, it is not yet a public health emergency on the international scale; however, this is not to a sign that the WHO is not taking this seriously. There have been several hundred confirmed cases in China, and at least 17 deaths since the outbreak last December. The city of Wuhan has been put on partial lockdown, with no transportation leaving or coming into Wuhan. WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus claimed that the Wuhan coronavirus could soon be an international threat. For the full article, click here.
