Scientific American: Study Reports First Case of Coronavirus Spread by Asymptomatic Person

People who have contracted the coronavirus but show no symptoms seem to be able to spread the virus to others asymptomatically. This causes a major concern as the virus is highly contagious and those who have it can unknowingly spread it. If this happens, containing the virus would be a much more difficult task. Another concerning fact is that this asymptomatic person has led to two other cases. The Shanghai businesswoman who traveled to Germany showed no symptoms until her flight back home. The two German businessmen she had encounters with showed symptoms such as fever, sore throat, and muscle soreness and was later confirmed to have the coronavirus. For the full article, click here.
