CNN: US could reach herd immunity by summer through vaccinations alone, CNN analysis finds

Last week, President Joe Biden stated that there will be sufficient vaccines for every adult by the end of May. CNN Analyst finds that with the current pace of 2 million doses of vaccinations each day, herd immunity can be reached by the summer. However, this does not include individuals that have built some level of natural immunity due to infection before any doses of vaccination. Including these individuals, immunity can be reached as early as June.
