The Verge: Lyft launches health care transportation program
Lyft Pass for Healthcare allows health care organizations and social services agencies create prepaid passes for patients to get to and from their medical appointments. This is one of the many new efforts to alleviate transportation barriers to healthcare. Uber similarly has a healthcare transportation program, Uber Health, initiated in 2018.
