NPR: “Storms across the U.S. cause deaths and power outages”

Many states besides California have been experiencing high-caliber storms, whether it be snow or rain. In the southern states such as Alabama and Tennessee, flooding and strong winds have resulted in a little less than half a million households with power outages as well as six mortalities.
