CNN: Tuberculosis outbreak declared public health emergency in Long Beach, but overall risk remains low, officials say

In the outbreak, 14 cases of tuberculosis were confirmed and approximately 170 people were likely exposed. Public health officials say that the outbreak is isolated to at-risk populations such as homeless individuals and those with serious medical conditions.
