Disaster Relief Exercise Concludes in Bangladesh

The 8th annual Pacific Resilience Disaster Response Exercise and Exchange sponsored by the Bangladesh Armed Forces Division, the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief and U.S. Pacific Command concluded this weekend. The mission of the five-day exercise focused on disaster response in preparation for a massive earthquake in addition to civil-military integration. With more than 1,400 participants from 13 nations, earthquake preparation plans, response capabilities, as well as command and control organizational design were tested.
