South Africa traces deadly listeria outbreak to meat product

As of March 2nd, there have been 948 reported cases, and 180 deaths, due to a Listeria outbreak in South Africa. The source of the outbreak is from a sausage product produced by the Enterprise Food Production facility. In response, officials have warned people against eating meat products marketed as “ready to eat.”
