Romaine lettuce warning: CDC says E. coli outbreak has sickened 32 people in 11 states

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has announced a new E. coli outbreak in romaine lettuce. The CDC urges all romaine lettuce to be thrown away and not consumed. 13 people have been hospitalized and 32 people in 11 states have gotten sick since the outbreak started. No deaths have currently been reported, but one person has had kidney failure.
