Amidst the flu season of 2018-2019, the CDC points towards positive outcomes resulting from a rise of vaccination rates for both children and adults in the last quarter of 2018. Fortunately, this year’s flu vaccine targets both the dominant strain, H1N1, and the more severe but less prevalent strain, H3N2.
