CNN: Thousands evacuated as typhoon strengthens and makes landfall in Philippines

Typhoon Kammuri hit the most densely populated island of the Philippines, Luzon, Monday reaching winds of 130 miles per hour. The hurricane is a category 4 and has led to evacuations throughout the country, many of which are forced for citizens’ safety.
