Hackers Are Using An Email Scam That Presents To Have News Related To the Coronavirus To Install Information Stealing Malware

Hackers based in Russia and Eastern Europe are using malicious emails to target industries like manufacturing, industrial, financial, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and transportation sectors by sending companies emails that contain information on the effect of the Coronavirus on the global shipping industry. In the emails sent by the hackers, a Word document is attached which contains information stealing malware and once opened by the recipient can put information at risk.
