44 Americans On The Diamond Princess Cruise Ship Diagnosed With Coronavirus

The Diamond Princess cruise ship, currently quarantined in Japan, has 44 Americans aboard infected with the novel coronavirus. With almost 3,700 individuals aboard the ship, this brings the total number of cases to 355 as of Sunday. The U.S. State Department has organized flights to evacuate Americans that are not showing symptoms of infection, where they will face two weeks of quarantine at military bases in California and Texas before being released.
