Stanford cancels in-person classes over coronavirus concern

In order to help slow the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), Stanford University has canceled all in-person classes for the last two weeks of the winter quarter, as well as their yearly Admit Weekend event for prospective undergraduates who have been offered admission for the upcoming academic year. Moreover, all campus tours and information sessions have been canceled. With two undergraduate students in isolation after possible exposure to the virus, the university, however, will still remain open.
