FDA: FDA Approves First COVID-19 Vaccine

As schools and businesses are opening back for in-person businesses, there are still many who hesitate to receive the vaccination shot. Recently, the FDA–an agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, which serves to protect the safety and security of the nation–has approved the very first COVID-19 vaccine from Pfizer after sifting through thousands of research pages and analysis of scientific data. Their approval of the vaccine has hopes to further change the trajectory of the pandemic and instill more confidence in those who are still hesitating to get the vaccine.
