ECDC Warns of Potential Increase in Infectious Disease Following Earthquakes in Turkey and Syria

The European Center For Disease Control (ECDC) is warning of a potential increase in infectious diseases in the wake of the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. Scientists at the ECDC speculate that the increase in infectious diseases could be caused by limited access to clean drinking water due to damaged infrastructures, lack of access to healthcare, and increased water or food-borne diseases.
