CNN: CDC identifies Gold Medal flour as source of salmonella outbreak

According to the CDC, 13 people have been infected with salmonella as a result of  consuming Gold Medal flour, resulting in General Mills recalling various flour products as of last week. General Mills spokesperson Mollie Wulf states that baking or cooking the foods that used this flour would have prevented these infections. Click here to learn more about salmonella in flour.
