VOA: Sexually Transmitted Diseases Increase in US as Funding Cut

In June, it was announced that the final two years of a $1 billion investment in treating STDs would not be given. Since then, the rates of STDs have increased nationwide as the people working in the tracing and contact of STDs no longer have the resources to do their jobs.
