Scientists State That Severe Drought in Amazon Was Caused by Human-Induced Climate Change

Scientists state that the drought impacting the Amazon river since June is the most severe drought the region has experienced in 45 years. According to the World Weather Attribution Group, human caused climate change was the biggest driving factor behind the drought, also increasing the possibility of more severe droughts in the future.
