NY Times: E.P.A. to Limit Science Used to Write Public Health Rules

The EPA is now proposing that scientists share their raw data if they want their conclusions or theories to be considered valid. This raw data also includes patient medical records, which is subject to privacy restrictions. This is part of the EPA’s effort to increase transparency in official scientific research. This initiative, which has been spearheaded by the Trump administration, is already under review due to the fact that many medical records cannot be published. Read the full article here.
