Researchers Discover Proteins That Can Be Used To Track Individual Organ Aging


A team at Stanford funded by the NHS is researching how the study of different proteins can track the aging of organs, leading to individuals aging at varied rates. The research team found that 20% of people display accelerated aging in one organ. The information can help identify which diseases people may be susceptible to based on the age of their organs.
