British Cybersecurity Chief Warns of Russian Hacking

In his article in the New York Times, David D. Kirkpatrick reports that Britain’s chief of the National Cyber Security Center acknowledged increased Russian cyber attacks on multiple fronts of British infrastructure. Prime Minister Theresa May also addressed the same concern in a speech given Monday. This further adds to concern over Russian hackers infiltrating larger western powers, for instance in the U.S. 2016 Presidential Election. This discussion also comes in the wake of North Korea’s recent cyber attack on several British health networks.
