CNN: IV bags in short supply across US after Hurricane Maria

The supply of IV bags containing Sodium Chloride 0.9% solutions has been running low in US hospitals due to inoperative manufacturing facilities in Puerto Rico.

Baxter Inc., the principal manufacturer for IV bags for the US was not able to run normal operations due to the damage caused by Hurricane Maria.
